Single Stripe is a versatile marking which travels along the length of the Tark'ee.
This marking may have a hard or soft edge, and may be black, white, lighter than or darker than the base coat, and may be inherited from a parents Single Stripe marking or base. In it's common form (nSs), Single Stripe is just as the name suggests - a single stripe which travels along the Tark'ee length. In it's dominant form (SsSs), Single Stripe may create up to 3 independent or connected stripes. A stripe on one or all four legs still counts as a single stripe. See below for examples of common and dominant Single Stripe. |
