Piebald is a white marking which covers all other markings as it can be considered an erasing of pigment. This marking is irregular and must NOT be symmetrical.
In addition to making the base coat white, where there are fleshy areas on the Tark'ee, a slight pink tinge can be seen. In it's dominant form, Piebald can cover the whole Tark'ee - only allowing small patches of colour to show through. Below shows the allowed coverage as an example -this coverage can occur anywhere on the Tark'ee.
Red is minimum, Orange is maximum recessive, Yellow is maximum dominant. Below that are examples of minimum pied and max dominant pied. |
